Aruond Murud

Shree Keshavraj & Shree Vyagreshwar, Aasud

Famous for its temples of Shree Keshavraj & Shree Vyagreshwar, Aasud is around 5 Kms from Dapoli. Shree Keshavraj temple is situated on a small hillock surrounded by lush green trees and waterfall. Shree Vyagreshwar temple dates back to more than thousand years old and situated on the banks of the river. The Lord Shiva temple is famous for its Hemadpanthi architecture.

Murud / Karde

Famous for its long, clean serene beaches. Murud & Karde are one of the attractions to be visited. The marvelous & spectacular Sunset on the sea is something one can not miss. Amongst the attractions, Dolphins watch & Sea Para Gliding have become a craze amongst the young lot. The She-oak plantations adds to the beauty of the beaches. Murud is about 10 Kms drive from Dapoli while Karde is 12 Kms.

 

Ladghar

Ladghar is situated at about 8 Kms from Dapoli, also known as ‘Tamas Tirtha’. Ladghar is fast becoming a tourist attraction. The Beach has some beautiful rocks on which one can enjoy the waves coming through. This untouched and serene beach will light one spirits and recharge oneself.

Harnai

Situated at about 15 Kms from Dapoli , Harnai is famous for Coast line & Harbor. Harnai is well known for rich and mouth watering fish markets. It hosts about fishing boats of the locals in the village. Its an unforgettable experience for sea food lovers. Suvarnadurg fort surrounding is one of the places near Harnai to be visited.

Anjarle

Anjarle well known for its ‘ Kadyavarcha Ganpati ‘. Anjarle is one of the places you can’t afford to miss. Situated at about 20 Kms. From Dapoli. Anjarle has a clean untouched beach with Coconut & betel nuts grooves.

Panhalekaji Caves

Creation of these caves started approximately at 3rd century AD, in time when influential merchants were spreading the teaching of Buddha in India. Many large temples appeared near ancient trade routes. Panhale Kaji was one of such temple complexes, located at busy route from inland to Dabhol – one of the most important port cities at Arabian Sea in these times. Dabhol has been marked even in maps of Ptolemy.
